Hi,
We purchase a SR300 camera and a Joule developpement kit and I have a problem because I am not able to connect the camera. I don't know which cable use and where can I buyt it.
I want an adaptator SR300 -> USB3.0. Is it possible?
Thanks for your answer
Best regards,
Anthony

Hello Anthony,
Thanks for reaching out!
First of all I would like to highlight that the SR300 is not compatible with Joule just as it is mentioned in https://communities.intel.com/message/436048# 436048 https://communities.intel.com/message/436048# 436048. This is due to the Atom processor on Joule and the 6th Gen Intel Core processors are completely different processors with different architectures. The 6th Gen Intel Core processor is much more powerful and is meant for bigger workloads.
Regarding the cable that the SR300 uses, it is a standard micro USB 3.0 cable. Just like the one shown in this link https://www.google.com/search?q=micro+usb+3.0+cable&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjw2rv6ntTTAhWrhFQKHdMTBC0Q_AUICygC&biw=1600&bih=763# imgrc=kLDxNW9aIY0uUM:
Another important point is that you have to use a high quality micro USB 3.0 cable. USB 3.0 cables are not as easy to manufacture as USB 2.0 cables. What this represents is that low quality USB 3.0 cables can be harmful and even burn the USB port they are connected to.
I hope this information helps you,
Pedro M.
