Hello team,
I am trying to improve an old desktop pc with an Intel Core 2 Duo E4500. I am not sure if this processor supports Windows 8.1 64 bits (of course, i want to upgrade RAM to 8 GB). Could you help me?

Thanks for joining the Processor community.
Please bear in mind and Intel processor is operating system independent. This means you could install any operating system with your processor model. According to the specifications of the processor handles 64 bit operating systems.

You need to make sure your motherboard or computer manufacturer supports Windows 8.1 64 bit. Please check with your computer vendor or computer manufacturer.
