S1200V3RPO BIOS Recovery

Dear all,

I have to recover the BIOS of a S1200V3RPO server board, however the backup flash blocks are also damaged.

The only way it's to boot from USB using the optional RML.ROM image, as specified in the user manual.

However, in any System Update Package that I downloaded from the Intel website I cannot find RML.ROM image.

Where should I download it?

Thank you and best regards.

The RML.ROM or DNL.ROM files should be optional for the BIOS recovery. As noted, Intel is not including such files in the BIOS recovery packages for the board.

You should be able to enable the BIOS recovery jumper and have the files in the root directory of a USB flash drive (Formatted in FAT32).

If this process fails, there might be the need of replacing the board. For this, please contact our http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/contactsupport Intel Customer Support team for proper follow up of your request.
