I have just taken delivery of my first shopbuilt PC for over 17 years (I normally put my own together) and I have discovered a couple of oddities that I could use some help with:
First - Bios says I have 32GB onboard, Windows says the same BUT I only have 16 GB available. How do I convince my PC to use all 32 GB?
Second - using Task Manager, I expect to see six cores (after all - that is what is advertised). The strange thing is I see twelve CPUs - is this right? Oh - every other "CPU" on the liist is marked as "parked" - what does this mean?
Thanks for all help.

The 12 cores showing up is becuse of Hyper-threading , is the ram you have on the approved list , and running at the correct volts.?? what ver of windows do you have , Because Home prem will only let you use 16GB if you upgrade to PRO you can use 192GB.
