when i connected my external hard disk( elements 10A) my internet will be limited. I spent hours trying to find the problem and i found the problem to be when I updated the latest driver version 18.12.1 for intel (R) wireless N 7260.

After the update i cant connect to the internet when my external hard disk is connected to my pc windows 8.1 and 10.

What can be done to solve this problem?

Is this wireless adapter the original one that came installed in your computer? Intel recommends that you obtain and use the software provided via your laptop manufacturer. Here is the link: http://www.intel.com/support/oems.htm listing of laptop manufacturer's Web sites.

Did you try to connect your external hard drive into a different port?

Can you check if your external hard drive is performing any task that might be causing this issue?

Does it work normally without this hard drive connected?

Have you tried a different cable?
