I have a lenovo ideapad y580 and the screen dims when on wall power and connected to a samsung smart tv via the hdmi port. The out of the box windows 7 control panel functions do not let me adjust the brightness at all. The Intel Graphics and Media control panel also does not allow me to adjust the brightness. however when i click on "monitor/tv" settings under "display" in "advanced mode" the display resets and comes back bright and clear for a brief moment, then it begins to dim. How do I turn this off????
