I have a lenovo ideapad 500 15ISK 80NT with intel realsense camera F200. Its working properly and i use windows hello to sign in all the time
Recently i installed intel realsense SDK and tried 3D scanning with it But its only working when it is configured to scan objects when i change it to face or anything else it shows configuration not supported
This camera is able to do that right? Then whats wrong??
Almost all other functions are working, the face tracking,3D segmenatiin etc
I have installed all the latest drivers and
intel_rs_sdk_offline_package_10.0.26.0396
intel_rs_sdk_runtime_10.0.26.0396
intel_rs_dcm_f200_1.4.27.52404
and Java SE Devlopers Kit 8 update 102
I'm running windows 10 x64 Anniversary Edition
Intel i7 6500u
8gb ram

Hello amaltom,
In regard to your concern with the camera F200, I would like to confirm the name of the application that you are using, also if it is possible, could you please provide me any screenshot of the issues that you are facing with the application?
With this information, I will be able to provide you further assistance.
Please bear in mind, that the camera F200 was designed to work with a short range in the distance between the object.
Regards,
Angie

Hello amaltom,
Thank you for your reply.
I have confirmed that according to our Intel® RealSense™ SDK it supports only two cameras R200 and SR300. This will be the reason why you are facing some issues with your F200.
Also, the application for 3D Scanning seems to be compatible only with the SR300 R200.
You are able to confirm all this information on the following link:
https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-realsense-sdk https://software.intel.com/en-us/intel-realsense-sdk
On this other link, you will find a list of the applications that are compatible with the F200:
https://appshowcase.intel.com/en-us/realsense?cam=f200 https://appshowcase.intel.com/en-us/realsense?cam=f200
Regards,
Angie

Did u guys just removed support for F200. I'm pretty sure i saw the F200 on the supported list a 2 weeks ago.
Is there any software workaround to do the face scan

Hello amaltom,
In regard to your concern, the applications that were on the website are only supported for the cameras R200 SR300, most of them.
The applications that are supported by the F200 are listed on the following link:
https://appshowcase.intel.com/en-us/realsense?cam=f200 https://appshowcase.intel.com/en-us/realsense?cam=f200
Just as a friendly reminder, the applications listed on the links that I have provided to you, are the ones directly provided by Intel®.
Regards,
Angie.
