Hi
The i5-4690K is running at stock settings, but the clock of the IGP doesn't go below 600MHz when idle. It should go to 350MHz IIRC.
Recent driver (Version 10.18.10.3621) is installed.
Any ideas?

I found here: /docs/DOC-21192 https://communities.intel.com/docs/DOC-21192 in the comments section this:
"350 Mhz with the old driver matches with Intel ark. With the new driver GPU clocks with 600 Mhz. CPU is an i5-4670."
But that's over a year old! So it seems to be a driver bug for this long?

Thanks for joining the graphics community.
The graphics core frequency base for your processor model is 350Mhz however, since this processor supports Intel graphics dynamic frequency, the graphics driver will always try to place the graphics engine in the most energy efficient P-state.

I see, but how can 600MHz be more efficient than 350MHz if there is nothing to do?
AFAIK is the power dissipation proportional to the frequency.

I understand your point, however, it all depends on the system configuration, the way the BIOS and video BIOS was setup by your computer manufacturer.

But this behavior changed between 9.18.10.2885 and 9.18.10.3165, so it's up to the driver.

The base or lowest Idle frequency depends on Intel and not others Allan.

Maybe the change was intended and Intel didn't care to update Intel ark, it's not necessarily a driver bug. Intel ark is inaccurate of course.

@ heliosh, How are you measuring the clock on the GPU?
Thanks

GPU-Z and Intel Extreme Tuning Utility.
It's 600MHz on both.
