What driver am I supposed to download for this wireless adapter for 64-bit Win 8.1? Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Bluetooth® technology for Windows 8.1 OR Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software for Windows 8.1? Need to update driver to resolve poor connectivity issues since upgrading to Win 8.1.

Hi Stewmandu, thank you for sharing your question.

For WiFi connectivity issues please update Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software to version 16.11.0.

Depending on the upgrade path it is recommended to uninstall the older version first.

Hi joe_intel,

Thanks for your response. Do I need to uninstall just like any other software programs or how exactly do I uninstall the drivers for the N-135 wireless card? Also, I ran the set-up and the driver version for the WiFi card did not change or update. Makes me think that it didn't affect the wireless card drivers. Any other suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Stewmandu

Try uninstalling Intel® PROSet/Wireless Software from Programs and Features, restart your system. Uninstall the driver from Device Manager, restart again.

Install the latest drivers and keep Windows* up to date.
