Intel HD 620 in Lenovo 910 4k

Hello all.

I have eight lenovo 910 laptops

  • Lenovo - Yoga 910 2-in-1 14" 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - 512GB SSD

each running windows 10 professional. All are configured the same. The graphics seems not to work properly, as when I run Intel HD Graphics Control Panel application, under General Settings->Select Display, Resolution, Refresh Rate are not populated with choices. On the ones that are functioning correctly, Select Display dropdown choice includes "Built-In Display," and allows me to select the screen resolution.

If I change screen settings such as screen scaling on the malfunctioning ones manually, the scaling reverts to previous settings.

i have worked with Lenovo Tech support and they can not figure out the problem. Any thoughts?

Thanks

DK

Hello dexterkeefer,

I understand you have eight Lenovo* laptops, but you cannot change display settings in all of them.

Let me apologize for any inconvenience this issue may be causing to you.

In order to help you better I would like to gather more information about the configuration you have in the computer. Please attach to this thread the .txt file the Intel® System Support Utility will generate https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25293/Intel-System-Support-Utility

Please also attach the Intel Graphics Driver Report. This link will show you how to generate it http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005848.html

Please attach the reports of one of the computers that are not working correctly and another Intel® System Support Utility from one of the computers that are working correctly.

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.

Regards,

Fred

Hello dexterkeefer,

Thanks for the information you sent to me.

I would like you to try installing different version of the graphics driver. Please download this graphics driver https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26772/eng/win64_154518.4664.zip https://downloadmirror.intel.com/26772/eng/win64_154518.4664.zip

As soon as the graphics driver has been downloaded on the keyboard press WinLogo key + r, then type in devmgmt.msc, double click on Display Adapters -> Intel HD Graphics -> Driver tab -> Uninstall -> Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device -> OK, restart the computer, and then reinstall the driver I provided using the steps that are on this YouTube video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S1KzoQDjMMY
