Will a i7-4790k replace a A10 6700?

Hello, I'm currently in a knotted situation, I currently have a a10 6700 processor in my motherboard and currently want to upgrade it too an i7-4790k, but I am un sure on how many pins the i7 has and wanted to double check before I go ahead and buy it.
