Intel HD 4000 Drivers

I'm using a Dell Inspiron at the moment, and looking to update drivers. I can't find a newer version of video drivers on the dell website, so will there be any danger in using generic drivers?

Also, where can I find the most recent drivers?

Hello, Twizt:

Thank you for contacting the Intel Communities.

Regarding OEM computers and drivers, while using OEM systems like yours, the recommendation is to download and install the drivers from your computer's manufacturer website.

This is to avoid losing any special features or settings while using the generic drivers from Intel.

If the current driver is not giving you issues or errors, it would be good to keep using that driver, if you do have issues and would like to test our generic drivers, below you can find them.

You can simply access that website, filter as drivers and the OS that you are using.

In the case where the issue persists (if there is one), please provide me with an explanation of it so we can start with the necessary troubleshooting.

I was checking this thread and wondered if you were able to get the drivers installed and tested the behavior of your system.
