LotR: Battle for Middle-Earth 2 - Rise of the Witch-King crash on start(stop responding) Anyone know how to fix it? i want to play this game. on my desktop pc with win 10 works well but on my tablet pc not.

Specs:

Intel® Core™ M-5Y10c Processor (4M Cache, up to 2.00 GHz)

HD 5300

Win 10 64bit(updated)

4GB Ram

Intel HD Driver: 15.40.25.4463

I try other old games

like: Warcraft 3, Star Wars Empire at War,Rise of Nations: Legends, SW Battlefront 2 and no problem here

Any ideas how to get this game running?

I would recommend loading the latest video drivers for your graphics controller version 4474

It seems to be compatibility with the graphics controller and the game, you may need to check for game patches.

The above thread gave the answer. It was also linked on a community site for the game.

Download and install the below driver if your pc will allow it.

driver version: 15.33.38.64.4252

I dont know why but for some reason this driver is golden. It runs the game fine, it also enables the games command and conquer 3 tiberium wars and command and conquer 3 kanes wrath (made by the same dev, on the same engine just slightly modified) to run fine.

If you still have issues with battle for middle earth 2 and rise of the witch king after this then just create the options folder that seams to be missing when you install the game on win10
