HD Graphics 530 crash with windows 10 / Dell laptop

Dell laptop XPS 15 9550 running Windows 10 Home, approximately 9 months old.

 

Getting a Windows blue screen crash (stop code 0x00000063) on a regular basis which went away when the Intel HD Graphics 530 driver was disabled.

How come, and what's the fix so that the driver can be re-enabled?

I understand you are getting blue screen of death in your Dell* laptop, and the issue goes away when you disable the Intel graphics driver.

Was there any software or hardware change before the issue started happening?

 

 

Does the issue happen when you are doing something in specific in the computer?

 

 

To attach a file, you must click "Use Advanced Editor" on the upper right hand corner of the response box, then the "attach" option will appear on the bottom right hand corner of the response box.
