Latest Intel Rapid storage technology driver for a NVME Raid 0 setup on a Asus prime Z270 A motherboard and a i7700k processor.

Hi I am having an issue when trying to install Windows 10 on m.2 NVME drive Raid 0 setup on a Asus prime Z270 A motherboard and a i7700k processor. My motherboard says it has Rapid Storage Technology with Optane but doesn't identify the NVME drives in the "Custom" installation process. I tried downloading the latest RST driver's from your website onto a USB drive but when I try to install the drivers when prompted it comes back with a message saying that "No signed device drivers found". Not sure if I have the right driver or not, have tryed both the "Zip" and "exe" version to no success. Everything is setup correctly in the Asus prime Z270 A motherboard bios. Can anybody help me? Regards Brett# 1964.

Hello BRETT1964# ,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Do you have an Intel® Optane™ Memory installed on your system? I don't understand very well, do you have two M.2 installed that are already set as RAID 0 that can't be recognized or is your Intel® Optane not being recognized.

Would you please explain better what exactly is going on?

Regards,

Thanks for your reply, I have an Asus prime Z270 A motherboard which states is Intel Optane Memory Ready and two M.2 NVME drives set up via the bios in Raid 0 (striped). I followed a instructional video showing how to install Windows 10 on M.2 NVME drives in Raid on a Intel Z270 chipset. Everything went well until the stage where I'm supposed to upload the Intel Rapid Storage Technology driver to enable the Windows 10 installer to identify the M.2 drives. When prompted to install the USB stick with the driver on which I should be able to browse to and upload I instead get a message saying that "No signed device drivers found" It's here that I get confused. I don't know if I've got the right driver for my setup. I've tried both "Zip" and "exe" files I've also read in another forum about an "Application". I've tried searching using my computer build specs but get no definitive answer as to what is the most current driver or if I even need it given my Asus prime Z270 A motherboard is supposed to be Intel Optane Memory Ready. Do you have the Intel® Rapid Storage Technology enabled in the BIOS as it shows here:

Page 6, on page 15 you can check how to set your RAID.

Also, I suggest you to download the IRST from ASUS website; you should be able to get it here:

If this problem continues I strongly recommend contacting ASUS support as they are more familiar with your motherboard and how the operating system can be installed.
