I'm having to build an editing computer from the ground up on a Supermicro dual CPU motherboard (2011v3). Trying to understand the tech specs of CPUs working with Premiere Pro...
What is a better fit for editing video? Dual Intel Core i7 3.6 ghz or dual Xeon E5 2.2 ghz processors? Or maybe a different i7 processor? Taking recommendations!

Hello rcwells40,
Thank you for contacting the Intel community.
Please see the specifications for these processors at:
http://ark.intel.com/compare/92981,94189 http://ark.intel.com/compare/92981,94189
As you can see, none of those processors have integrated graphics and you will need the integrated graphics to do video editing, unless you are planning to buy a video card, but if that is not the case, please provide me with you motherboard model and I can try to find a processor that can work for you.
Best regards,
Ivan U.
