The resume of my desktop is like the following.

M/B: Asus H170-Pro

CPU: Core i7 6700 3.4GHz

DRAM: Crucial CT2K8G4DFD8213 (DDR4-2133 8GB×2)

OS: Windows 10 64bit Pro (Version 1607 Build 14393.576)

SSD: Samsung 950 Pro M.2 NVMe

HDD: WD Blue 2TB 5400rpm

TV Tuner: PIX-DT460 PCI Express x1

Keyboard and Mouse: via each PS/2 port

Monitor: QNIX QHD2410R Multi (without DisplayPort)

Video Format: HDMI 2560×1440 60Hz

Cable: Green House GH-YHD15-BK (4K・2K-capable 1.5m)

Graphics: Intel(R) HD Graphics 530 (On Board)

Sound: Realtek HD Audio (On Board) to QNIX (back-side speaker) analog input

From 2016/10/09 to 2016/12/13, my desktop and monitor worked perfectly. Since 2016/12/14, they show black-outs of 3.2 seconds zero times to about 10 times per hour. They are not shorter than 2 sec nor longer than 4 sec. The sound stops simultaneously with the black-out. On some days, the black-outs do not occur for more than 8 hours. Horizontal black line (through-out) noises within the bottom half of screen can be frequently observed right before the black-out. I also experienced whole-screen shakings when I moved between cells on Excel. I tested my monitor with another HP notebook (HP Pavilion Gaming 15-ak051tx Intel HD Graphics 530 2015/12/21 20.19.15.4360) for 4 days and a black-out could not be recognized (I played music to hear whether the black-out occurs when I leaved my notebook).

I returned my monitor to my desktop and examined several different versions of 530 drivers. First 6 digits of version numbers shown on the download site ( https://downloadcenter.intel.com/ja/product/88345/Intel-HD-Graphics-530 ) and those which of Device Manager do not match. Maybe Microsoft and Intel manage the version numbers differently. So, I only name the last 4 digits to indicate which driver I use. 4552 (beta) and 4542 result in the black-outs within 11 minutes after booting Windows up. 4539 (beta) results in black-outs within 30 minutes after booting. Since 2017/01/04, I use 4352 and the black-out have not been recognized (6 days, but I worked outside often). My question would be that should I use 4352 forever trying disabling auto-updating, or should I engineer Windows and Intel HD Graphics settings to utilize for example 4542?

In regard to your concern, since you have no issues with the version .4352, my recommendation is to stick with it.
