INTEL HD 4000 Drivers for Windows 7/8/10?

Hello, I'm an Intel HD 4000(I7 3770K) user and i'm wondering when there would be a release for the product. It has been some time since this got a driver and I've also discussed it with the authorities and they said i would be updated with the information. And, i just came to know that the 4th Gen windows 7 support has reached an EOL recently and i'm wondering the same would be the case with 3rd Gen too?If so would there be a last driver for the 3rd Gen as it was there for the 4th gen?

I would appreciate if anybody shed some light on this.

Thanks,

Hary

Hello Hary:

In regard to your question, the latest version of the graphics driver for the Intel® HD Graphics 4000 controller for Windows® 7 is version 4425, released on 5/13/2016, here is the link for you to confirm that information:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25977/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=81499 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25977/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=81499

Now, there is no official statement that Intel will release another driver for this graphics controller, so, in order not to provide false expectations what we recommend is to keep checking our web site for latest driver releases:

Any further questions, please let me know.

Appreciate the reply. So, does that mean that there would be "no more" drivers for this product or there'll be "a" driver for this product but there's no ETA?

Hello Hary:

To answer your question, Intel has not provided any statement saying that there will be new driver or drivers available for that graphics controller, there is no confirmation about that, and also Intel did not confirm that there will be no more driver or drivers for it neither, so, that is why we recommend to keep checking our web site, if by any chance a driver becomes available for that graphics controller, you will be able to see it in there.

Any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for the swift reply. I'll keep visiting the site to check for new releases. I'd like to clear one more doubt. So, if the Ivy Bridge series will face EOL,will there'll be some sort of information on this site indicating that? Something like you guys did for the 4th Gen by mentioning that "this will be the last driver and this(4th) product line for the windows7 will face EOL/EOS"?

Thanks,

Hary

You are welcome.

Correct, you will be able to see a notification just like the one for the 4th generation processors if the graphics support goes EOL/EOS in our web site.

Any questions, please let me know.

Please note that the 3rd Gen HD4000 driver support situation may have recently escalated; thanks to Microsoft's production rollout of the Windows 10 Creator's Build (1703) upgrade push...

For example:
