Good morning, I bought an ACER desktop PC with Intel HD 530 Graphics on board and 2 HDMI outputs.
I tried to connect it to my Samsung Syncmaster P2250 monitor with an HDMI-DVI-D cable (the monitor has only a DVI and a VGA port), but the screen remains blank.
I connected the monitor to the PS4 and to my Bluray player with the same HDMI-DVD-D cable, but in this case it worked perfectly, so I think that the problem lies in the graphic card.
Does anyone have any idea/suggestion?

Hello Mafarka:
The following drivers are the latest for the Intel® HD Graphics 530 controller, please try the beta driver 4552:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26464/Intel-Graphics-Beta-Driver-15-45-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26464/Intel-Graphics-Beta-Driver-15-45-?product=88345
If the problem remains after trying that driver, please try the driver 4542:
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88345 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26404/Intel-Graphics-Driver-15-45-?product=88345
Since the Intel drivers are generic, we always recommend to use the drivers provided by the manufacturer, in that case to get them you just need to enter the model of the PC on the following link:
https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers
Do you know the model of the PC?
Since the cable works with PS4 and Bluray we can rule out a problem with the cable itself, normally we do not recommend to use converters, we cannot guarantee that the next suggestion will fix the problem however we had cases where by using an active adapter this problem gets fixed, so that is always an option:
https://www.google.com/search?q=active+adapter+hdmi+to+dvi&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=770&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjCvcXOi73RAhXMTSYKHS-fA1AQ_AUIBigB&dpr=1# imgrc=O_LGMLvBzNOL0M: https://www.google.com/search?q=active+adapter+hdmi+to+dvi&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=770&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwjCvcXOi73RAhXMTSYKHS-fA1AQ_AUIBigB&dpr=1# imgrc=O_LGMLvBzNOL0M:
Now, there could be a problem with the DVI port on the monitor as well, not sure if you have the option to test it with a different device to rule out that possibility.
Which Windows version are you using?
Please let me know the results of trying the steps above.
Any questions, please let me know.
Regards
Alberto

Thank you for your support Alberto.
I tried with other drivers but the situation didn't change. So I borrowed an HP Monitor E231, I connect it with the same HDMI/DVI cable and now it works perfectly!
Thence it was a monitor problem. Maybe my Samsung P2250 is too old for being detected by the Intel HD 530.

Thank you very much for letting us know that information.
Perfect, excellent, it is great to hear the problem got fixed, and yes, maybe the problem was that the monitor was not recognize properly by the Intel® HD 530 graphics controller.
