Hi suho,

Thank you for contacting us.

Are the two cameras tested under the same conditions? There are some considerations to be taken when working with data depth, since it may cause different behaviors. These include environment temperature, environment ambient IR light and physical effects such as vibration. This can happen even in the case of fixed indoor lighting with a stationary camera and target. Make sure you take this into consideration.

Also, I found a thread where this issue is discussed as well https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/realsense/topic/603666 https://software.intel.com/en-us/forums/realsense/topic/603666 . Some of the most important points are the distance between the camera and target can affect and also suggest you to try different settings in the SDK.

I'd suggest you to take a look at the thread above and this link https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/realsense-depth-data https://software.intel.com/en-us/articles/realsense-depth-data , which discusses in more detail how the Depth data works in the RealSense cameras.

Let us know if you're able to see better results.
