Intel HD Graphics 4400 update issue

For a couple months now my Intel HD Graphics 4400 driver has not recognized any updates even though I search for drivers online, and there are updated new drivers. I use a third-party program called DriverEasy, (to help me see what drivers need to be updated since Intel Driver Update Utility only tells me the Bluetooth drivers need to be updated) and every time I scan for driver updates it says Intel HD Graphics Family needs an update. And when I install it, errors usually come up pertaining to the driver not being compatible with my system and that the system requirements don't meet. I need help with getting the graphics driver updates to my laptop because it affects game performance for some games that I play such as CS:GO. My processor is a i3-4030U.

Hello KJoseph2001,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

The latest driver for the Intel HD Graphics 4400 is located here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26229/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81497 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26229/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?product=81497

I suggest uninstalling the old driver first and then install this version from the link above.

Please see http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver, once the driver is uninstalled install the new driver.

If you keep getting the error then install the driver manually, see hot to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

Note:Intel provides generic versions of software and drivers. Your computer manufacturer may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes. We recommend you work with your manufacturer before installing our driver so you don't lose features or customizations.

Regards,
