Hi there. I am trying to install Intel Extreme Tuning Utility on the Alientware 17. However, I got this error "Service 'Intel(R) Extreme Utility Servicde' (XTU3SERVICE) could not be installed. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to install system services." I have a dual graphics, One is NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M and the Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600. I want to run the Sims 2 Ultimate Collection on this laptop and the NVIDIA graphics card won't run on this one due to the error "Direct3d returned an error E_INVALIDARG! The application will now terminate.", and all methods do not work, so I will have to use the Intel one. It works fine but It is slower sometimes and I will need a overclocking program to work at full speed. However because of this error, I cannot. Can you help me how to get this thing installed on this laptop?

Hello Zeromoon95,

The XTU would only work on an unlocked system, with an unlocked processor.

I checked the product information (http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-17/pd http://www.dell.com/us/p/alienware-17/pd) and I did not find anything that says that this is an unlocked system. It just mentions something about the system being overclocked from factory.
