Hello.
According to http://ark.intel.com/products/53469/Intel-Core-i7-2670QM-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_10-GHz ARK | Intel® Core™ i7-2670QM Processor (6M Cache, up to 3.10 GHz) Intel 2670QM supports up to 32GB of RAM installed. I'd like to know if it supports 4x8GB ddr3/ddr3l sodimm configuration only (as implemented in thinkpad w520) or 2x16GB configuration too?
I have notebook with this processor installed on HM65 chipset. And only 2 dimm slots available.
Will this processor support 2x16 GB modules? For example this ones: uk.crucial.com/gbr/en/ct204864bf160b
Thanks in advance.

Hello K0nstantin,
The processor itself does support up to 32GB of RAM but in this case my recommendation will be to contact Levono, as the manufacturer of your motherboard they be able to guide you if your motherboard supports 4x8GB or 2x16GB.
Regards,
Amy.
