I just opened my brand new https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/model/DT.B7YAA.002 Acer ATC-780-UR12, running Windows 10 (64-bit) and integrated Intel HD 630 graphics card.
The graphics card has an HDMI and a VGA port. My HDMI monitor has no problems. My VGA monitor, on the other hand...
Text is blurry. Images have a fade/shadow on the right - like a cartoonist's representation of motion. Open windows, regardless of size or position, have a red-lined left border and a green-lined right border.
I have tried rebooting with only the VGA monitor plugged in. I have tried two different VGA monitors. I have set a custom aspect ratio of 100%.
I tried installing the latest https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/27267/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-15-40-?product=80939 driver, but the installation failed: "This computer does not meet the minimum requirements for installing the software".
I have attached the SSU information. Also:

That did enable me to install the newer driver, thanks.
Unfortunately, the VGA display problem persists.

DP-to-VGA converter on the processor ports is supported using external dongle only, display driver software for VGA dongles which configures the VGA port as a DP branch device.
If i understand that correctly there must be some extra hardware on your motherboard that is not made by Intel, but by Acer.
I would ask at www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support if that can be fixed from their side (potentiometers settings, whatever).

I am assuming there was some physical problem with the hardware. I had a new one shipped out and it works fine.
Thanks for taking the time to help with this!
