Hello qiuyaoboy,

Thank you for joining the Graphics Community. I am sorry to hear you are having video playback green screen issues.

Please try updating your current Intel® HD Graphics driver version to the customized version from your computer manufacturer, find below some steps to uninstall your current version and install that version.

Steps to uninstall the current driver:

  1. Open the Device Manage
  2. Expand the Display Adapters section.
  3. Find the Intel Graphics Driver. The driver can also be called the Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator Driver (Intel® GMA Driver).
  4. Right-click the Intel Graphics Driver and select Uninstall.
  5. Select the check box Delete the driver software for this device.
  6. Reboot the computer after uninstall process has finished.

Hi Amy,

Thanks for your response!

The dell recommended HD4000 driver version is 10.18.10.4425, and this version is out of date.

My laptop is currently running with the driver of 10.18.10.4653, which is latest driver certified by intel and WHQL.

This dvier works great with the previous version of Windows 10, which is RS2 (v1703).

You will not suffer this issue until upgrading to Windows 10 RS3 (v1709).

Would you please tell the driver coding team to build a new driver which is suitable for HD 4000 running with Windows 10 RS3 (v1709).

Because this action will reduce the environmental problems caused by discarded electronics.

Thank you!

I understand about Dell's version being old, however, is the driver provided specially for your computer model. If you encounter the same issue with this version I recommend letting Dell's support know.

From my end, I will send your request to the proper department. Hopefully it can be considered.

Regards,

Amy C.
