How do I determine If the graphic controller: mobile intel 945 express chipset family is compatible with Windows 10?

Your 945 express chipset is not supported on WIndows 10.
Look way down this page, under "legacy" and you will find this chipset: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005526/graphics-drivers.html Supported Operating Systems for Intel® Graphics Products
It also means your processor is not supported as well.
The best thing for you to do is upgrade to a new(er) hardware platform that is supported. And, if you have the option, get a platform that has an nvidia or amd graphics add-on card. You will be glad you did.
