I purchased an Intel 6800K processor "sold by and shipped from Amazon". It arrived in an Amazon cardboard box. Inside was a thin Amazon envelop containing the 6800K wrapped in a pice of regular bubble wrap. There was no Intel box or antistatic slip or any Intel paperwork or any Amazon paperwork.
I returned the product and Amazon siad that they would send another. However they could not guarantee that the replacement would be packed any other way than the first.
I paid £417 for this processor which I beleive is the retail cost of a new processor and should have been delivered in an Intel box.
I would be grateful if someone would comment on this soon as I expect the replacement to arrive today.

Hi Beemer,
Our retail processors come on sealed boxes only. In the case of the High End Processors such as i7-6800K, comes alone without the heatsink and fan.
I am sending you an example from Amazon:

I suggest you to contact Amazon and request a replacement or refund.
Regards,
Mike C
