Intel AC 7260

My card(s) lose the entire 5Ghz band every couple of hours on Windows 7. I can still see 2.4Ghz ssids but no 5Ghz at all. My laptop is an Asus G75. The previous card in this system was an Intel 6235 which would run rock solid for weeks at a time on the 5Ghz band. Disabling the 7260 and enabling it again brings back 5Ghz for another couple of hours but eventually repeats the problem. I tried 2 7260 AC cards on this system and they both have the same symptons. Please help! I need to access this computer remotely throughout the day and this problem is frustrating. Please dont tell me to use only the 2.4Ghz band because that would defeat the purpose of buying this card completely. I have several of these cards and am reluctant to try a 3rd one on this system because it has to be completely disassembled in order to access the mini pcie slot.

In this scenario the best recommendation is to contact the system manufacturer in order to get a list of validated and certified adapters that are compatible with your system.

Intel® wireless adapters are meant to be professionally installed by Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technicians on certified systems only.

Wireless hardware installation and use is subject to regulatory approval.
