Hi. It downloads the 330MB, then it looks like it will install, but then the error message comes up. Something like this:

Error: A customized computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel® Driver & Support Assistant is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel® driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver can cause technical issues. Contact your https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/topics/oems.html computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer.

First, you are not using the IDSA if you did the direct download from the link provided.

Second, the message is absolutely true. If the device manufacturer has modified or customized the driver (for example using dual graphics) then the generic Intel driver may cause problems or a loss of functionality.

So, use the generic driver, or get the driver that your device manufacturer has.

If you want to use the intel generic driver, you can https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000005629/graphics-drivers.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and...

The choice is yours.
