I now can't hook my laptop to tv without the option "Output to TV" under Graphics. I know the HDMI cable is good and the tv input is uder the input 2 that I use for media center which works fine. How can I get the option Output To Tv option back???? I have done all recomended updates, I now have windows 10. I have an Acer Aspire v 1 1 touch, intel pentium, quad 4 intel hd graphics.

Hello Angelrose1116:

In this case what we can try now is to install the latest graphic driver that is available for your laptop.

Remember that the Intel graphics drivers are generic, and they might or might not work with your system, that is why we always recommend to install the drivers provided by the manufacturer.

I was looking for the graphics drives and specifications of your laptop in Acer's web site, but I do not see the specific model of your laptop, could you please double checked the model or if you can find it on the following link, so we can make sure we are looking for the proper information:

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/group/laptops https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/group/laptops

On this scenario it is always recommend to test different HDMI cables and also to try different HDMI ports on both the laptop on the TV.

Please let us know or provide a link where we can see your laptop so we can better assist you, since we can try different driver versions but in order to look for them we need to make sure that we have the right product.

Which Windows version are you using?

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards

Alberto

I have an Acer Aspire v 11 Touch V3-112P-P7LP

Bought with windows 8.1 and came with a free upgrade to windows 10 which I have now.

I got the virus when it was the 8.1 and the graphics option "Output to Tv" was there when I

hooked up the HDMI cable to my tv which is the same tv I have now. The port is working fine

since I use it for my media center daily.

Since the reinstall of windows 8.1 I the" output to tv " doesn't show up, the graphics does and the display does.

Intalling windows 10 hasn't corrected this problem.

Hope you can help.

Hello Angelrose1116:

Thank you very much for that information.

We can try the following drivers.

Driver 4256:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25176/Intel-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit-N-Series-?product=76756 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25176/Intel-HD-Graphics-Production-Driver-for-Windows-10-64-bit-N-Series-?product=76756

Or driver 4276:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25313/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=76756 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/25313/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-33-?product=76756

I still cannot find the model of your laptop on Acer's web site:

https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers

Or in the link I gave you previously, which is strange because it should appear on both links.

If you use a different TV or a PC monitor does it work fine?

Based on that if you try the drivers provided above and the problem persists, then the best thing to do will be to get in contact with Acer directly, in order to them to show you where the graphics drivers are available and also in order to get further technical or warranty assistance, since they might have different troubleshoot steps in order to try to fix this problem, a BIOS update might be needed, or in the case a replacement is necessary.

Acer's phone number: 1 866-695-2237

Acer's support site: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards

Alberto

Hello Angelrose1116:

I just wanted to check if the drivers and the information posted previously were useful for you, and if the issue with the graphics panel persists or if it was resolved?

Any questions, please let me know.
