Hi there!
I cannot update my drivers software for Intel HD Graphics 4600:
When I try to update the first item, everything is doing ok, and after restart, the IDUU shows the update again.
The second item (graphic driver 15.46.02.4729) cannot be updated; it says my pc doesn't have the necessary specifications.
The third item (15.40.36.4703) is being updated, but after the restart, it is still the old driver (20.19.15.4703) being shown in Device Manager.
What's going on there?
The GPU is the internal one on on ASRock H87 Performance, CPU Intel Core i5.
Thank you for your help!
Regards,
Mario

That's a bug in IDUU i have already reported
I predicted it would cause confusion
Driver 4729 is only for Skylake and beyond
15.40.36.4703 and 20.19.15.4703 are the same, check out https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005654.html Understanding the Intel® Graphics Driver Version Number

Hi!
Thank you for your fast response.
What does this mean? I don't have to install the driver because it's the actual one? (referring to version 4703?)
What about this first item (Setup Chipset...)?
Thx!

Yes, your graphics driver is up-to-date. No further action needed.
You gain no advantage if you update the chipset aka INF driver.
Technically it's just a text file with a long list of device IDs.
Microsoft has just a weird numbering scheme:

Ok, thanks!
And why does the IDUU gives out all these updates, if I don't really need them (if the driver is up-to-date)?

As aforementioned, it's a bug in the version detection of IDUU.
Wait for a fixed IDUU or bookmark https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/81496/Intel-HD-Graphics-4600 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 4600 and take a look there from time to time.

Ok, I think I am going to uninstall the software and try it some other time or look what the mainboard manufacturer has to offer (GPU is on-board).
Thank you for your help!

Hi there!
I have another question: the mainvoard manufacturer (AS Rock) showed me this driver for updating: VGA driver ver:15.40.7.64.4279.
Do you know what's this and do I need this one and where to install it?
My processor is Intel Core i5-4570S.
Thank you!
