I have a https://pl-go.kelkoogroup.net/ctl/go/sitesearchGo?.ts=1521072525568&.sig=4yha5ghvMYlCi7l8UAcgUD3azuE-&offerId=f609c0689dca8835028192e37b2bb6ae&searchId=1076984114124_1521123527866_215837&affiliationId=96953784&country=pl&wait=true&ecs=ok&contextLevel=1&contextPageSize=3&merchantid=15132813&comId=15132813&catId=111801&searchQuery=ODcwMGs%3D&service=... 8700K (default bios settings) for a month now. I have only just noticed after scrolling through event manger that i have been getting these warnings only from 21.01 january:

A corrected hardware error has occurred.

Reported by component: Processor Core

Error Source: Corrected Machine Check

Error Type: Cache Hierarchy Error

Processor APIC ID: 0 (also sometimes happens for 6 or 8 aswell)

I havent seen any affects that might be caused from this like BSODS or freezing. All stable. Intel diagnostic tool passing. Memtest86 no errors. IHC memtest no errors. Either way should i be concerned of that errors from 21.01?

Thank you very much for sharing your issue with the Intel® Communities Team, fruscuante23.

By researching about this error it seems that can be caused by either hardware or OS. If after the installation of Windows® 10 this error did not occur again, I could be a problem with an update performed by the OS or the image previously used. Please run the https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/19792/Intel-Processor-Diagnostic-Tool Intel® Processor Diagnostic tool to double check if the processor is healthy, please share with us the results. Additionally, have you modified the processor's frequency?

Intel Processor Diagnostic shows my cpu is healthy.

No i dont modified cpu frequency. Always 4700mhz.

Today is 12.03.2018. Not single Whea warning. It happened only in 21.01.2018 and after that day not warnings.

So still it was something with hardware ,change something in UEFI or leave it ?

Thank you very much for your reply, frusciante23.

Please keep the UEFI as it is. Additionally, try using 3rd party software to test your other components as the https://www.memtest86.com/ MemTest86 for RAM or the http://hddscan.com/ HDDScan for the HDD.

Memtest and memtest IHC not showing errors. And disks are fines. So why that whea warnings 19 and 47 happened only in 21 january? After 21 january to actuall day no warnings whea.

It can pop out of the blue, warning in event logs, like once of 2 months. So its very rarely. Otherwise all is stable no crashing. Should i change something on uefi, is this problem with processor?

Yes i checked my inbox. Thank you for help. But is any sense to RMA cpu if this happened 2 times during 2 months? I am playing all games without that WHEA-WARNINGS . I am stress testing cpu actually and no warnings whea. I had WHEA-WARNINGS 19 only in 21 january 2018 and 16 march 2018 when pc was idle.

Thank you very much for your reply, frusciante23.

The reason why I am offering you to proceed with an RMA is that this can be hardware related and with some processes, this processor can be generating this errors. In the case that the WHEA Warnings errors persist please follow the instructions provided in that message in your inbox.

Like i said i tried to reproduce issue by formatting disk and installing again Windows 10 ( with the same processes ) and no whea warnings again.

So i think you are not right that processor can be generating this errors with some processes.

Errors happened 21 january and 16 march. No repeated.

Why you even no ask me about bios update?

Please keep in mind that the Memory supported by your https://ark.intel.com/products/126684/Intel-Core-i7-8700K-Processor-12M-Cache-up-to-4_70-GHz Intel® Core™ i7-8700K is DDR4-2666 and you are using 2x8GB DDR4 GSKILL* 3000MHz; please test your system with the recommended Memory frequency. Please share with us the part number of your RAM. Furthermore, test your system using a different power supply to discard that this is not a power issue. Also, please use the minimal configuration meaning one single stick of RAM and no GPU, just the processor and the RAM with the power supply. As well, as you mentioned, please proceed with a http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1151/TUF_Z370-PRO_GAMING/TUF-Z370-PRO-GAMING-ASUS-1101.zip?_ga=2.43480739.781251022.1522247914-1268731772.1521566466 BIOS Update for your mainboard.
