Hello, I'm having an issue with my new computer. Whenever I install the Intel Graphics driver and I restart the computer, the screen turns black. The computer has an iGPU. These are my components and OS:

OS: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit

Mobo: Asus Prime Z370-A

RAM 32 GB

Intel Core i7-8700K

The computer is now running on a Generic driver. I reinstalled Windows but the issue persists. Please help me as I've spent so much time trying to solver the issue and I couldn't. Thank you!

Hi:

The issue is with my work PC. It has an MSI M150 Gaming M3 motherboard. I'll try the MSI drivers early monday.

Already restored/reinstalled Windows, it's rather weird that it happens when installing default/stock drivers. Does not matter if they are Windows Update or stock drivers from Intel, just a black screen with no mouse. Can connect with remote desktop just fine.

This issue started happening after I removed a Nvidia card (1080Ti) i had installed. Already fiddled with the mainboard's BIOS and tried every combination. Installed latest BIOS (released this month), tried default settings, etc.

If it keeps failing will buy a cheap PCIE card. Hope it gets resolved, seems that a lot of people has this issue.
