6700k graphic display

Hello,

I'm trying to use the integrated gpu of the 6700k as a secondary gpu.

The igp display on a second monitor.

There is two problems:

-I don't know how to make the igp display continually, for some reason the signal stop very often. Maybe something to do in the bios about power saving option or something else...

-If I make the igp primary in the bios, the bios can't be display at all after reboot.

I would look for an option that just says ENABLE IGPU. You do not want to set it as your primary. You just want to ensure it is enabled so that it is active when the PC boots. You will then setup the rest of your display options from inside the OS.

Yes, I think that's an os monitor configuration problem, but I wanted to be sure, thanks.

About the primary gpu option for the igp, that's something I can need, so I would like some advice if possible. That is an important thing to know about anyway.

The bios don't display and can't be access even with the other gpu, however the os boot normally.

So are you saying you are unable to see the bios no matter what you do? I would try hooking up just one monitor and trying it first in your discrete card, then again in your onboard.

If you can still not see the bios splash notice (tells f10, del, etc to enter bios) let me know. If/when you get in to bios make sure your discrete GPU is your primary device, then just enable the IGPU. This should allow both of them to function when inside windows.

If you are unable to see the bios splash screen on both the IGPU and Discrete, then your next step might be to reset the bios.

You might also look for documentation with your motherboard manufacture for the exact procedure to enable the IGPU in bios.
