Application have been blocked from accessing display driver windows 10

Hi,

I have two major issues in my dell Inspiron series 15 laptop with windows 10 64 bit touch.

1. Display driver has stopped responding and recovered:

I tried to change TdrDelay file with higher value. also updated driver.

But the issue still persists.

2. Application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware.

This error come very frequently while watchcing videos. It also appears randomly even when no load on display driver.

The system hangs when this error appears.

I tried running dell display check tests, but they could not catch this.

I am using 20.19.15.4300 version of driver. moving to latest version is making issue more worse.

This is annoying and not find any proper solution to this.

Please help.

Thanks,

Mitesh

Hi Esteban,

I have tried with Video_Driver_TCH84_WN32_20.19.15.4404_A03.EXE driver as well.

But the problem increases with this version.

Please help.

I also tried with beta version of driver from intel, it worked for some days and now again started getting same issue.

Thank you for your answer Mitesh, I just checked that Dell released a driver recently (16 Jun 2016)

Video_Driver_4KJ6K_WN32_20.19.15.4454_A04.EXE

http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/inspiron-15-5558-laptop/drivers/advanced http://www.dell.com/support/home/us/en/19/product-support/product/inspiron-15-5558-laptop/drivers/advanced

Have you tested this driver? this is in order to test all the available options for you.

Also, another generic driver from Intel 15.40.25.4463: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26079/Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-15-40-4th-Gen-?v=t Download Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 [15.40][4th Gen]

Hope you can test them and provide us with some feedback.

Hi Esteban,

I am sorry to inform you that the problem still persists.

When I run video player in full screen mode for more than an hour without interruption, this error appears.

I am not sure how display driver behaves differently with time.

Do you suspect any hardware issue here?

I have got laptop checked with Dell service team as well, but they could not find any hardware issue here.

Attaching here snapshot of the error.

Thanks a lot for your continuous cooperation and help.

Regards,

Mitesh
