Hi .. All
I have an Intel D945GCCR motherboard, the updated Technical Support Specification shows supported processors as • Intel Core 2 Duo processor in an LGA775 socket with a 800 MHz system bus • Intel Pentium D processor in an LGA775 processor socket with an 800 or 533 MHz system bus • Intel Pentium 4 processor in an LGA775 processor socket with an 800 or 533 MHz system bus • Intel Celeron D processor in an LGA775 processor socket with a 533 MHz system bus, whereas anotherhttp://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/boards-and-kits/desktop-boards/000005820.html link on the Intel website of supported processors for the D945GCCR shows support for Intel Pentium Dual-Core Desktop Processor, Im a bit confused with the specification as the Technical guide also mentions that other than the processors mentioned (bulleted text) can can damage the board, the processor, and the power supply, Well I would like to know whether Intel Pentium® Dual-Core Desktop Processor, is fully compatible with the Intel D945GCCR or not ??
Please help me resolve the issue,
Thanks in Advance
Sydney Anthony
