Hi
I have a Dell XPS 12 with an AC 7260 WiFi card. This card is PCIe Half Mini Card.
I wish to use Wireless Docking.
Would it be possible to replace the 7260 with an AC-17265.
The AC-17265 is a M.2 3030.
Would it be possible to do it with a mini PCI-E to M.2 (NGFF) Adapter?

Thanks
Karan

Hello KaranThakkar,
Changing your Intel® Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 for the Intel® Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265 will not make you get the satisfying results you want. Your best option would be to consult with Dell* and/or HP* about what are the compatible systems they have available for Intel® WiGig. You must consider that these systems will work only with their own docking device and none other. Check these links: http://i.dell.com/sites/doccontent/consumer/merchandizing/en/Documents/Dell-Wireless-Dock-WiGig-spec-sheet.pdf Dell Wireless Doc - WiGig and http://h30094.www3.hp.com/product/sku/11163450 HP Advanced Wireless Docking Station - Docking & port replicators - HP: F7M97AA# ABA for further information.
