Cloning is vanished, after beamer restarted

We are using Dell-Desktops with Intel HD Grafics 4600 for classrooms. With some of this computers we have the problem, that cloning is vanished or removed by users and it is not restarting by itself, when beamer is restarted. We would like to fix such settings like cloning, for that neither users, nore drivers can remove it.

I would like to know some information in order to isolate this issue:

Have you tested changing video cables?

Was your computer BIOS updated?

Are you using any type of video adapter?

Can you provide any video or picture of the issue you are currently experiencing with your computer?

Was graphics driver updated?

Allan.

Hello Allen,

thanks for your message.

We already treid different cables.

Bios and driver are in newest version.

Monitor is connected by DP.

The other DP is connected to a HDMI matrix an the way to the beamers, wich is turned off with the beamers after the lectures, while the Computer goes to standby S3.

After matrix is on again and Computers comes back from standby, sometimes cloning is turned off at the drivers menu.

The scenario with matrix and beamers is hard to change, so we need a solution on the most flexible component, the computer.

Many thanks

Thanks for the report and the cable information.

Based on the report it seems you are currently using customized drivers, I recommend testing the latest Intel(R) Graphics Driver version 4170

Dear Allan,

thanks for your fast answer. I tried the original Intel driver you suggested, but it did not solve the problem.

Do you have any other idea?

Kind regards

Udo
