Interposer board and cable for LR200

Hello,

Can someone clarify what the following partnumber represents: 82634DSIPEX

As far as I understand it is the interposer board for the LR/R200 cameras. Is this correct?

Any documentation available on the interposer board?

Does the cable come with it (82634DSIPEX)?

If not, is there a partnumber for the cable? Any reference to where we can purchase it would help.

Thank you

I am on my tablet right now and so cannot check the codes. But you can order the parts from any Intel approved distributor. You can find the links to search for your local distributors in a link at the top of the forum front-page callee 'Must read - Technology and sales Q&A'

Hi Marty,

Thank you for the response.

The section 'Must read - Technology and sales Q&A' contains part numbers for the developer kits only.

We are integrating the realsense components into our product. We have purchased the camera module only: 826341DSPR21 and we are trying to find out the details about the board and cables (various lengths).

Is there maybe another forum/contact that we can provide the part numbers for the realsense components (not dev kits)?

Thanks

The intent of my advice was correct I wasn't recommending the purchase of the external kits. To order internal parts such as the case-less module versions of the cameras, you order them from an approved Intel distributor and not Intel directly. Now I'm back at my PC, I will paste the distributor search links.

I also checked the codes. It looks like the SIPEX code is for the interposer's data sheet, and the part code for the interposer itself is Q6URSR200IB (multiple sources specify this as the interposer's part code).

If you google Q6URSR200IB on its own with nothing else, you will get confirmation of this.

Thanks Marty,

The only reference I have to search by is keywords on the approved vendor websites. Unfortunately, I cannot find any intel document to list what parts number are available and what exactly they represent.

For example, on BLT if I search for interposer I get the same link you forwarded:

http://www.shopblt.com/item/intel-real-sense-r200-interposer-board/intel_q6ursr200ib.html http://www.shopblt.com/item/intel-real-sense-r200-interposer-board/intel_q6ursr200ib.html

If I search for realsense I get:

http://www.shopblt.com/search/order_id=267263995&s_max=25&t_all=1&s_all=realsense&search=Search http://www.shopblt.com/search/order_id=267263995&s_max=25&t_all=1&s_all=realsense&search=Search

The list show item 82634DSIPEX which according to arrow they "think" it is the interposer for the 826341DSPR21.

The story is the same with arrow. They have the camera mod: 826341DSPR21 and they "believe" the 82634DSIPEX is the interposer for this camera.

However, they cannot confirm, they do not know what it looks like, they have no spec sheet, and they do not know if it contains the cable.

Everywhere, I searched and asked they said they have limited info. Is there maybe a link to the spec sheets for the realsense parts sold by the approved distributors?

Thank you

This post brought back memories of when the R200 first launched and I was squinting at zoomed-in images of the R200 camera module's circuit board, trying to figure out how on Earth a power cable connected to it. Myself or nobody else ever worked out the answer.

Using some lateral thinking though, it seemed that if I could find a "repair teardown" image of one of the tablets that used the R200 camera then I could see the cable that was attached to the camera module. After an hour of eroded sanity looking through countless tear-down images of models with the R200 in close-up, I finally came across this one for the MobileDemand xTablet T8650.

Another tear-down, for the Dell Venue 8 7000 I believe, offered this cryptic image of the connector.

Edit: the long silver length in the picture is a screwdriver, not a cable.

This is really the best info I could find after 90 minutes of analysis. I'm very sorry.

On a side-note, though not completely relevant to the cabling for an R200 camra module, I did find an interesting article on wiring hacks for the USB version of the R200.

Dear my_name_here,

have you finally found a working interposerboard for the LR200?

We gave a bet on http://www.mouser.ch/ProductDetail/Intel/82634DSIPEX/?qs=sGAEpiMZZMu3sxpa5v1qrkP0vRjIKSD7eKNitnVylLw%3d 607-82634DSIPEX (mouser.com) to be the right one, but it didn't work.

Thank you for your feedback!
