The latest update on HD530 drivers made my pc boot way slower

Yesterday i installed the new drivers that were recommended by the driver update utility (the package ending in 4590), After that momment, every time i open my pc, it needs almost 1min to boot when it used to take 5-6 seconds. Is there anything i could do or could i reinstall the previous drivers again and uninstall the new ones? Almost forgot...when the pc finally boots, it says there is promblem with a external device not working properly(it doesn't recognise my keyboard even though i am typing from it right now. Also the mouse comes up on the screen several seconds after the pc has booted. By the way, i never had a issue prior to the drivers update yesterday, also sry for my mistakes, not a native english speaker. i don't know if it matters or will help but these are the specs of my pc: cpu- i3 6100, mobo- asus h110m-k, 8gigs ddr4 2133mhz ram, no graphics card, windows 8.1 64bit pro. Thanks in advance.

Hello vagsta:

No problem at all, I understand the scenario and thank you very much for providing your system configuration, it is very useful for us to better assist you.

In regard to your inquiry, yes you can always un-install the new drivers and re-install the ones that were working before.

If you are planning to install the previous driver, you can try that by getting in device manager, select "display adapters", right click on the "Intel graphics", choose "driver" tab and select the option "roll back driver".

The driver 4590 is showing as fully compatible with your system, so the PC should work just fine with it.

Did you try a BIOS update on the board?

On the following link you will find the graphics drivers provided by ASUS, the latest is version 4508 and also the file to do a BIOS update, version 3016 latest:

https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-K/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/Motherboards/H110M-K/HelpDesk_Download/

We recommend to install the drivers provided by the manufacturer of the board, however on the next link you will find the graphics drivers for the Intel® HD Graphics 530 controller, which is the graphics controller the processor is using, you can try any of the drivers in there:

Any further questions, please let me know.

Regards

Thanks Albero, no i haven't done a bios update on the motherboard. I downloaded an update via ''ez flash3'' but never installed it cause i heard that it might cause stabillty issues or harm my pc and that, if they aren't necessary, i should't do it anyway. eg. if i wanted compatibillity with kabylake prossecors(i heard that about bios updates on general, not specific asus once).

Hello vagsta:

You are welcome.

Thank you very much for letting us know that information.

I understand that you consider the BIOS update could be risky, at this point is one of the thing to try, the updates include fixes for different issues, that is why we recommend to do that when the PC has some kind of problem.

As an option, you can always get in contact with ASUS directly to get further information on their BIOS update, and also to check what would be the scenario in case the BIOS update fails.

ASUS's phone number: 1 812-282-2787

ASUS's support site: https://www.asus.com/us/support/ https://www.asus.com/us/support/

Any questions, please let me know.

Regards
