Hello, I have a problem when downloading graphics card drivers "Intel® HD Graphics 5500" and I want to install it gives me a message that they have to contact your service. These drivers are designed for my card so why can not I install?

If the generic Intel drivers don't install, you'll need to download them from whoever made your PC (Dell, HP etc...), sometimes the chips in these machines have custom hardware IDs or other tweaks that only officially work with the OEM supplied driver.

What laptop do you have? Can you list your OS and specs?

According to this DxDiag, your laptop actually has an AMD R9 M375. You'll want to download the latest Crimson driver from below.

In that case, go to Lenovo's website, (if you just Google it, it should take you to the right region/language), go to the support section of the website, select 'Download Drivers', find the specific model of your laptop (DxDiag just says it's a Lenovo 80K6) and download the latest Intel Graphics Driver they have.

Hello StaSIu,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

The message "A Customize computer manufacturer driver is installed on your computer. The Intel Driver Update Utility is not able to update the driver. Installing a generic Intel driver instead of the customized computer manufacturer driver may cause technical issue. Contact your computer manufacturer for the latest driver for your computer."

This message mean that you computer manufacturer customized the graphics driver in your system to have it work based on the features and specifications for your system. Installing the Intel® Generic driver can cause instability and incompatibilities.

If you want to override your system manufacturer driver you can do the following:

Download the latest graphics driver from the Intel website, you can download it here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=86210 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=86210

Uninstall the customized driver; please check http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver

Once the drive is uninstalled disconnect the internet, this is to avoid Microsoft to push the installation of the customized driver through Windows® update.

Install the Intel® generic driver manually, please check how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

If this does not work, it is because your computer manufacturer does not allow the installation of the Intel® Generic driver, at this point you will need to update the driver from your computer manufacturer website.

Best regards,

Ivan.

In this case, about your warranty policy or what can void the warranty for your system, I strongly recommend contacting you computer manufacturer or place of purchase. They can explain to you if installing the Intel® generic driver voids the warranty.
