Windows 10, Intel HD 5500 graphics card and WoW

I need an updated driver... my computer shows that the driver is current, but I am having disconnect issues when playing World of Warcraft. I am not able to install the driver utility program.

This is what the support tech at Blizzard said:

"In your MSINFO you are constently getting Live Kernel Events associated with your intel video drivers. These errors are related to igdkmd64.sys crashing. This would cause your computer to stop recognizing your video processor."

Please help!

Hello alimora,

That's correct you can download the driver at the link Al Hill posted or you can directly download here:

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/26228/Graphics-Intel-Graphics-Driver-for-Windows-10-and-Windows-7-8-1-15-40-?product=86210 Intel® Graphics Driver for Windows® 10 and Windows 7*/8.1* [15.40]

If you get an error installing this driver, I would suggest uninstalling the one you already have installed and Intel this one manually.

Please check how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver and how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

I hope this can help.

Best regards,

Ivan.
