For an Atom D2550 running in a box with passive cooling (Shuttle XS36VL), theBIOS reports core temp of 55 deg. C, and system info software reports the same, core temps of 55-56 C (131-133 F). Can anyone tell me if this is typical, and also what is the recommended max. temperature for the D2550? I've not been able to find a data sheet for this. Thanks -ea

Hi edagro,
The temperature for this specific model works just like a laptop processor, the temperature is 100C.
This type of processor was designed to work that way and you will not find overheating issues working at 55C.
