Updating to 15.36 keeps showing older version

[Intel HD Graphics 4600]

Updating to latest Win 7 version 15.36 still falling back or at least report the version 10.18.14.4414 on the Device Manager.

I tried to install it manually with the .zip and "Use Disk" steps and rebooting.

Perhaps this is just how it should show? One clue for this side theory is that when I open the corresponding "Graphics/igdlh64.inf" file, it contains "DriverVer=03/23/2016,10.18.14.4414".

Or it should match 15.36.??whatever?? as displayed on the download page?

Thanks.

Only the four-digit number is relevant for users.

That's correct. Please take a look at http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005654.html Understanding The Intel® Graphics Driver Version Number
