Hi,

Is the fisheye camera on the Realsense ZR300 rolling shutter like the color camera, or global shutter like the IR cameras?

Cheers,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Thanks for your interest in the Intel® RealSense™ ZR300 camera.

The Fisheye camera of the RealSense ZR300 is Global Shutter like the IR cameras. Here you can find more details about that:

Fisheye Camera:
  • Monochrome Camera
  • Field of View 166° × 100° × 133°
  • Global Shutter
  • 60 FPS, VGA, 4:3

Hope you find this information useful.

Regards,

Hi Yermi,

You've said the fisheye camera is global shutter like the color camera, but the specifications page says the color camera is rolling shutter. Could you please clarify this, and is there a public document that confirms the fisheye camera is global shutter?

Cheers,

Matthew

Hi Matthew,

Sorry for that, it was my mistake. You are right, the color camera is Rolling Shutter, the IR cameras are Global Shutter, and the fisheye camera is Global shutter.

Currently, there is no public documentation that states that, however, I'll make sure to pass this information to the proper team, so they may add it in the documentation.

Note: I'll edit the first post just to clarify that and avoid confusions.

Regards,

-Yermi A.
