Hey,
I'm using the Intel Realsense SR300 for a robot application and now it would be great to process the data at the flange of the robot where the camera is placed.
Does anybody have some experiences with single board pc's for processing data provided by the SR300? My vision-app is fully developped in Windows.
Thanks a lot.
Kindly regards,
Timo

If you were using an R200, you'd have a number of options. As you have an SR300, you will preferably need a board with an Intel Core processor on it, so the options are more limited. In my mind, an excellent option for a Core processor with USB 3.0 and Windows 10 compatibility would be one of Intel's range of NUC mini-PC's, which is available in both cased and bare-board formats.

The bare boards are a couple of years old and have a 5th generation processor, whilst the SR300 needs a 6th Gen processor. You could maybe get a new 7th Gen cased NUC and extract the board from that. The prices are excellent so it should not add much expense. Look for the models with processor names starting with NUC7 - these are Intel Core 7th Gen models
