When starting cold starting custom pc with intel motherboard running windows 10 onboard network adaptor list as 82579LM and not started if I scan for hardware changes network adaptor changes to Intel 83579V and running and no problem have made sure bios is up to date installed Intel windows 10 driver 23.1 I can also get the wired network to work by reset PC after windows boots just restart and works. I driving me nut you shouldn't have to restart your computer after starting it just to get the onboard wired network adaptor to function.

I do not see your adapter on the supported list:

https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000020905/network-and-i-o/ethernet-products.html Windows® 10 Support for Intel® Ethernet Adapters

What Intel board and processor do you have?

Ok, you are faced with an issue of a motherboard that is not supported on Windows 10, and the driver you provided the link for is from 2012 and not for Windows 10, and a lan that is not supported on WIndows 10.

I wish you luck with this, but you are in the unsupported zone, just one step from the twilight zone. As the song goes, it's 2am.

It kind of not true about my motherboard not supporting Win10 I ran the Win10 system check before I installed it 2 years ago and this PC is still the fastest unit we have in part do to the SSD's and a whole lot of memory installed this line I see everywhere you all type this board is not supported in windows ten is to be taken with a grain of salt. the NVM patch above works

I did not say Windows 10 would not run. I said it was not supported.

That means you are on your own and at the mercy of Microsoft, who can pull the plug at any time.
