Hi,

I have Intel® HD Graphics (Core i3) installed in my Dell Laptop. I have Windows 7 ultimate (64-bit). I am not able to connect my tv or other external devices through HDMI cable.

Earlier i used to connect. I have updated the driver as well. But still getting the same issue.

I have attached my system configuration also. Please let me know if anything else is required.

Hello saurabhmanik,

Thank you for joining the Intel Community Support.

I would like to get some information about your system. Please scan it using the DxDiag tool. Follow the steps below:

1. In the keyboard, press WinLogo key + R.

2. In the Run box please type dxdiag and hit Enter.

3. Click on Save All Information (save it in your desktop).

4. Attach the report to this thread.

Also, please provide the following information:

-Are you using a video adapter/dongle (like HDMI-to-VGA)? Is it a straight-through connection (HDMI-to-HDMI) with a single cable?

-What are the other external devices that you cannot connect either?

-Your TV model.

-Laptop model.

Hello saurabhmanik,

Thank you for your response.

Please follow the steps below and let me know how it goes.

1. Make sure you select the correct display mode (e.g extended desktop) on your computer and input source on your TV.

2. Try connecing another HDMI source/device to discard a faulty port.

3. It seems that your computer has VGA video output. Please try connecting a device with VGA input.

4. Try using another HDMI cable.

Also, what is your TV model (TV model numbers)
