Intel HD Graphics 630

Hello Intel,

I have a big problem with Intel HD Graphics 630 the colors is really bad and i can't download the newest driver! I had used Intel Driver Utility and tried downloading it from this link: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/98909/Intel-HD-Graphics-630 Downloads for Intel® HD Graphics 630 I please you help me! .

On i try to install the new driver i get this message:

http://prntscr.com/fg962d http://prntscr.com/fg962d

Right now i had version: 21.20.16.4599 of Intel HD Graphics 630

The version i try to install is: 21.20.16.4678

Hi Simon942: Thank you very much for joining the Intel® Graphics communities.

 

 

The Intel® driver update utility depending on the system you are using is not that accurate in finding and installing the drivers, that is why we recommend to install the drivers manually.

 

 

In order to look for the proper driver, we just wanted to check:

 

What is the model of the motherboard?

 

What is the model of the processor?

 

If this is laptop, what is the model of the laptop?

 

Which Windows version are you using?

Motherboard: (ASUS) GL553VD (U3E1)

CPU: Intel Core i5-7300HQ CPU @ 2.50GHz

Laptop model: ASUS ROG STRIX GL553VD-DM373T

Windows version: Windows 10 1703 (Creator update)

Just to let you know, we recommend to install the graphics drivers provided by the manufacturer of the board, since the Intel graphics drivers are generic and they may or may not work with your system.

 

 

I was looking on ASUS web site and actually the latest graphics driver version available for your board is 4599, that is the one currently installed on your computer:

 

https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ROG-GL553VD/HelpDesk_Download/ https://www.asus.com/us/Laptops/ROG-GL553VD/HelpDesk_Download/

 

 

Based on that, your system might not be fully compatible with driver version 4678, but in order to try to fix this problem we can try an older driver version, like 4664 or 4627:

 

https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/98909/Intel-HD-Graphics-630 https://downloadcenter.intel.com/product/98909/Intel-HD-Graphics-630

 

 

Another step to try will be to do a BIOS update to the latest version: 302, but first please get in contact with ASUS directly to get the instructions of how to do it and to confirm if that is the proper step to resolve the problem:

Thank you, I understand why I could not install it and also fixed my problem by updating my BIOS
