It is like the title says whenever i try and update my drivers they are "up to date" and 7 months old and when i try to update them via the intell website nothing works and my processor is aparently not supported. Processor is a i5-7300HQ and the laptop is a dell inspiron 7567 gaming laptop I cannot do much with steam due to the folders being locked constantly unless i end the IGFXEM.exe process on my computer first. Any suggestions?

Hello cro68,

Thank you for contacting the Intel community.

Please bear in mind that the proper driver for your system is located at the Dell website, the driver or software for your Intel component might have been changed or replaced by the computer manufacturer. We recommend you work with your computer manufacturer before installing our driver so you don't lose features or customizations.

However, you can try installing the Intel® generic driver manually, but before installing this new driver version uninstall the old version and do not restart the system and also disconnect the internet to avoid Microsoft to install any update, please see https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005598.html Uninstalling the Intel® Graphics Driver and Intel® Display HDMI/Audio Driver and see how to http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/graphics-drivers/000005629.html Manually Install an Intel® Graphics Driver in Windows® 10 and Windows 8*/8.1*

I hope this can help you.
